Designed to Empower Survivors, EVE's Services are confidential and free.
EVE's Counseling Program serves individuals who have experienced domestic violence. We utilize a non-judgmental, supportive and strengths-based approach with a philosophy of empowerment. Individuals from all racial, ethnic, religious and sexual orientation backgrounds are welcome.
Individual and Family Counseling: Appointments are generally available between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, 7 days a week. To make an appointment, please call (517) 372-5572.
Women's Support Group: For women who have experienced or are currently in a domestic violence relationship. Thursday's from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Please check with staff for availability of groups on housing, employment and legal needs.
Family Focus Group: Information and support for mothers, Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Free Childcare: Provided by trained staff and volunteers for support groups.
Children's Support Group: Groups begin at 7:00 pm. Please call (517) 372-5572 for specific nights. Children 5 years old and up can participate in Children's Support Group. The children are encouraged to use this group for anything they want to discuss. Some issues may include exploring their feelings and personal experiences, talking about the abuse, developing safety plans and learning about realistic expectations.
