Children are often the silent victims of domestic and sexual violence. At EVE we provide a safe space for children to understand their experience with violence, keep themselves safe, express their feelings and learn alternative ways of resolving conflict.

EVE childcare program is a two hour, twice a week program in which children can have fun interacting with volunteers and interns while their mothers are in group therapy. Within these two hours, there are many activities for the children to participate in. Some activities include playing outside, crafts that are relevant to the seasons, holiday parties, free play, games, etc. These activities are meant to help the children grow in cognitive, developmental, and social skills. While the main purpose is for the children to have fun, interns and volunteers try their best to provide an educational space while making activities and interactions enjoyable for everyone.
