"We cannot affect meaningful change if we become complacent; if we become comfortable with our own positions in the status quo." - Cyril Ramaphosa.
EVE is excited to announce the opening of our new office in Dewitt, MI. This will allow us to better serve the Tri-County Area (Ingham, Clinton, and Eaton counties) going forward. The office is located at 12800 Escanaba and will be staffed by counselors, advocates, and a community outreach coordinator, who specialize in sexual assault.
Our advocates help provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and resources to help someone on their pathway to safety. Some of these resources include legal navigation, safety planning, medical advocacy, and court support. Our counselors assist with learning about trauma, identifying healthy coping mechanisms, and building self-esteem and trust all while using non-judgmental survivor centered best practices. We can assist any survivor of sexual assault in the Tri-County Area. To reach our counselor or advocates, please call the crisis line: 517-372-5572
Community outreach aims to make a difference through awareness education and training on abuse and violence. We offer free programs and presentations tailored to your organization. To schedule a presentation in Clinton or Eaton County or to request more information please contact Alexis Epps at AEpps@eveinc.org
Feel free to drop in and say hello if you’re in the area!
