EVE is thrilled to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Mid-Michigan community and our dedicated donors, we have raised $7,640 in support of our endowment fund.
This milestone was achieved through 35 Hours of Giving, a philanthropic event that offers multiple ways for donors to support nonprofit endowment funds in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties. All funds raised go directly to each nonprofit’s endowment fund held at the Capital Region Community Foundation, where they are invested to ensure long-term sustainability.
This endowment is a vital resource that ensures EVE can continue its work for generations to come. Endowment donations are invested, with the earnings providing ongoing funding for our direct services, shelter, advocacy, and legal assistance for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and elder abuse.
“These folks are terrific. Well organized. The need is great and sadly, growing. Please spread the word. Your contribution is a big investment in the community and in some folks who need it the most.”
— 35 Hours of Giving Donor
EVE is deeply grateful for the community’s unwavering support over the years. Our success during 35 Hours of Giving was due in part to our sponsor Shaheen Chevrolet and Michigan Chevy Team, who sponsored a “Power Hour” to match donations up to $1,000.
