Medical Advocacy is a specialized on-call advocacy providing 24/7 support for survivors of sexual assault. Medical advocates provide patient advocacy throughout the Sexual Assault Nurse Examination (SANE) or rape kit at the survivors discretion.

What Can a Medical Advocate Do?

Assist with transportation
Provide patient advocacy by walking you through the SANE process, allowing you to make informed decisions throughout
Assist you in creating a safety plan
Offer resources and share options for your next steps on your healing pathway
Offer supportive and survivor centered care
