This event honors victims of domestic violence and their families, celebrates the strength of survivors, and announces the community’s commitment to combating domestic violence. Join us for an evening of remembrance and celebration as we honor those who have lost due to domestic violence and lift up the voices of survivors.
Last year, Ingham County had 1,620 cases of domestic violence. 1 in 4 women, 1 in 6 men, and 1 in 2 LGBTQ folx are survivors of Domestic Violence. That means 1 in 15 children witness domestic violence on a daily basis.
We light a candle for these survivors and their families.
